Obituary for Patrick Myron Sheridan III
Pat left this earth to join his Heavenly Father on February 12, 2022. He was born on August 16, 1938.
He was preceded in death by his Mother, Marguerite (Chawk) and Father, Patrick Myron Sheridan II and his two brothers, Danny and Michael Sheridan.
He is survived by his loving and most caring wife of 60 years, Jo Ann (Morris) Sheridan and his five children Karen (Bob) Begley, Bridget (Tom) Guarente. Kathy (Steve) Ford, Michael (Beth) Sheridan, and Dennis (Kira) Sheridan. He is also survived by his twelve grandchildren: Colleen Begley, Logan Begley, Michael (Sarah) Guarente, Sarah Guarente, Jimmy Guarente, Corey Ford, Brian Ford, Darby Ford, Daniel Sheridan, Nichole Sheridan, Kai Sheridan, Ruby Sheridan and his great grandson Dominic Guarente.
Pat served six years in the United States Navy, having achieved the rank of Lieutenant. He loved the Navy, but loved his wife and children more. He was retired from American Standard, Johnson Controls, and J.A. Sexauer. Pat loved to travel and visited all fifty states and numerous foreign countries, including China and Japan. Pat was a 1952 graduate of St. Phillip Neri, a 1956 graduate of St. Xavier High School and a 1960 graduate of Bellarmine University.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 – 7:00pm on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road. Mass of Christian burial to be held at 10:00am on Thursday, February 17, 2022, at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 1920 Newburg Road, followed by interment at Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, it is requested that memorial gifts be donated to St. Xavier High School’s Student Aid Fund, Hosparus Health or charity of choice.
