Obituary for Patty Jean Armstrong
Patty Jean Armstrong, 73, passed away Tuesday, August 28, 2018.
A native of Ashland, KY., she was a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University and a retired teacher from JCPS.
Patty was preceded in death by her parents, James and Pauline (Duncan) Brown and sister, Peggy Jobson.
She is survived by her daughter, Kelly Armstrong; son, Jeff Armstrong; grandson, Rhys Armstrong, nieces, Amy Jobson, Arami Jobson and Kaelahni Weitherspoon and her beloved dog, Banjo.
Her memorial visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Saturday, September 1, 2018 at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd.
A celebration of her life will be held at a later date at Cave Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Animal Refuge Center Inc., 185 Basham Trail, Vine Grove, KY. 40175.
