Paula Duane, 75, of Louisville, passed away Thursday, February 18, 2021 at her home.

Paula was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church. She taught at LaSalette Academy and Notre Dame Academy in Northern KY, and at Assumption High School and Sacred Heart Academy in Louisville.

After retirement, she taught Tai Chi, and volunteered at The Nazareth Home in the Highlands. Paula was a spiritual director, a SCN Associate, and enjoyed reading and golfing.

She was preceded in death by her parents, CJ and Polly Duane. Paula is survived by her lifelong friend, Carolyn Medley; siblings, Libba Bonifer (Chuck), Joe Duane (Sally), and Bonnie Carrico (David); nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and nephews.

Her funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 24th at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 1920 Newburg Road, with cremation to follow.

Visitation will be 3 pm - 5 pm, Tuesday, at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road.

Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery at a later date.
