Obituary for Rhonda Lynn Thomas (Lyvers)
Rhonda Lyvers Thomas, 62, of Louisville passed away unexpectedly on December 21, 2022. She was born February 4, 1960 to the late William Anthony and Dorothy Mattingly Lyvers.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 34 years, Donnie Thomas; children, Kyle (Laura) and Kathryn; sisters, Jacqueline Lyvers of Loretto, Juan Downs (Rick) of Lebanon, Tammy Jeffries (Jim) of Crestwood, Tina Lyvers Blanford (Gaylon) of Loretto; and brother, Chris (Melissa) of Loretto; additionally, mother-in-law, Shirley Thomas, brother-in-law, David Thomas (Barbie); and sister- in-law, Vicki Conflenti (Tony), along with numerous nieces and nephews and extended family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Lyvers; sisters, Mary Martha Lyvers, Sonya Michelle Lyvers; nephew, Joshua Keith Lyvers; and father-in-law, Don Thomas.
Rhonda was an RN, BSN, CCRN, CSRN at Norton Hospital (Downtown) for over 42 years. Nursing was not only Rhonda’s career, but her life’s work. Rhonda was a devoted “Health Care Guardian Angel” to many individuals. She will be dearly missed.
A private church service will be held at a later date.
