Obituary for Robert Fagan
United States Marine Veteran, Robert Peter Fagan, age 74, died on December 14th, at Baptist East Hospital.
Born on May 23, 1946, in Stamford CT, Bob called Louisville his home after marrying his beloved wife, Susan Wolf Fagan. He leaves behind their daughter, Lisa Fagan; a son, Robert Fagan, and his wife, Peggy; along with Bob’s grandchildren, Conor and Cole.
Bob is predeceased by his parents, Howard Francis Fagan and Margaret Lemon Fagan of Stamford, CT; and his brother, Howard Francis Fagan of Wilton, CT. He is also survived by his two sisters, Maura Fagan of Louisville, and Suzanne Henning of Pennsylvania.
A gregarious man with a joke, smile, and infectious laughter ever at the ready, he enjoyed golfing at Woodhaven Country Club with his dear, lifelong friends. The Presidential Honor of the Purple Heart was bestowed upon Bob for multiple wounds received in action during the Vietnam War.
