NOE, DOUG, 58, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 26, 2010 at Norton Healthcare Pavilion surrounded by his family.
Born in Louisville, Doug was the proud owner of Playthings Toy Shoppe, a graduate of Saint Xavier High School and an avid golfer.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Doris Noe.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Vickie Gutgsell Noe; son, Brian Noe (Tiffany); daughters, Michelle Noe and Kristen Dolle (Eric); grandchildren, Emma, Parker and Patrick Noe and Macy Dolle; mother-in-law, Rita Gutgsell; siblings, Diane Doyle (John), Debbie Guetig (Peter), Don Noe (Rhonda), Denise Steilberg (Jim), David Noe (Teresa), Darla Radcliff (Doug) and Dean Noe; brother-in-law, Terry Gutgsell M.D. (Kathy Jo); and sisters-in-law, Gail Hyland (Tim) and Elaine Speck (Joel).
His funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, December 30, 2010 at St. Raphael the Archangel Catholic Church, Bardstown Road at Lancashire, with private burial at a later date. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Wednesday at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road.
