Obituary for Robert C. "Bob" Straub
Robert C. “Bob” Straub, 88, of Louisville, passed away on December 24th, 2022. Born on February 13th, 1934, he was the son of the late Allan and Sylvia Straub.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Anne Martin Straub; his sister, Mary Ann Raque; brothers, Tom and Bill Straub; and his great-grandson, Matthew Mason.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Teresa; children, Sally Straub Buss (Jerry), Robert “Mike” Straub (Patti), Laurie Dixon, David Straub, Cary Straub (Marta), Joe Straub; stepchildren, Sue Brutscher, Michael Brutscher (Amanda), Laura Brutscher, Cathy Reid (Gary Hubbuch), Julie Hammond (Terry) and Tom Brutscher (Rhonda); his 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Bob’s visitation will be Thursday, December 29th, 2:00 pm – 8:00 pm, at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd. His funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, December 30th, at St. Martha Catholic Church, 2825 Klondike Lane, with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery.
Donations in Bob’s memory may be made to Food for the Poor or the Society of St. Vincent De Paul.
