Robert H. Williams, born January 12, 1930, loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on October 30 after an extended illness. Bob was born in Evansville, Indiana, and moved to Louisville with his wife, Carol, in 1956.

Bob proudly served in the US Navy, worked for 25 years at Brown Wood Preserving, and after retirement worked at Midland Trail Golf Course.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Gladys.

He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Carol (Speis); his three sons, Rick (Margarita Remus), Randy (Theresa Hoover), and Brad (Kim); grandchildren Ingrid, Paige, Shelley, Chris, Matthew, and Spencer Williams, Dylon and Melody Crain, and great-granddaughter Sadey Williams.

Visitation will be Friday from 3-8pm at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd. A funeral service will be held Saturday at 11am at Beargrass Christian Church, 4100 Shelbyville Rd.
