Condolences

Condolence From: Barbara Lovejoy Fairleigh
Condolence: Marilyn, I'm so glad we had a chance to connect at church just before John's passing. I can only imagine what it is like to lose your beloved husband of over sixty years. You are both very precious to Tyler and me. I am glad we had the picnic at the fountain several years ago to connect on a deeper level.

You are both such great examples of loving service in Kentucky and throughout the world. Please use your love to take great care of yourself. You have an awesome family for support which is such a blessing at this time. I am sorry that we were not able to be at the funeral and visitation as we are in California taking a seminar and vacationing.

You and all of your family are in our thoughts and prayers.

With deepest love and admiration,
Barbara

Condolence: I am so sorry to hear of Dr. John's death. Marilyn, I know that after being with someone for more than 50 years, that you are in for a great deal of change. Not only that, but your family is feeling the loss, as well. As you and your family grieve, please know that you will be in my prayers.

Condolence: I have attended HBC for 14 months and John and Marilyn always made Sug and I feel welcomed in this church (along with many other people we have encountered). I especially enjoyed the Friday morning men's group. Unfortunately, it was disbanded for 2018, I assume for poor attendance, but, with the small group, I was fortunate to spend time with John who was a consistent member. His smile, his friendliness, his love for his faith yet, openness to other views of the Bible, his devotional presentations and the joy Sug and I shared with John and Marilyn on social gatherings. Sug was very complimentary of this couple which was important because Sug can be shy on meeting new people. Thanks, John and Marilyn; may John rest in peace.
