Ronald Wayne Boyd, Sr., 73, passed away on Monday, July 20, 2020, with his family by his side.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Mary Boyd, and Shirley Boyd; sisters, Jean Stratton and Linda Forrest; and brother, Carl Boyd.

Ronnie enjoyed fishing and hunting, and he had a great love of gardening and cooking for his family.

He is survived by his wife, Pamela Boyd; sons, Wayne (Gretchen) and Tim (Elizabeth) Boyd; siblings, Charles Boyd, Jr. (Joyce), Nancy Adams (Dave), Donna (Pat), Gina (Rut), Carol (David), Dennis (Sue), and Rita; grandchildren, Chase, Katie, Abby, Stella, Emily, and Audrey; great-grandson, Dallas; mother-in-law, Emily Barker; and sister-in-law, Sue Boyd.

Funeral service will be at 3:00 pm on Friday, July 24, 2020, at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd. Visitation will be on Friday from 1:00 pm until the time of service.
