Jerry Ozier passed away peacefully at home on January 22, 2019. He was born December 30, 1938 in Peoria, Illinois. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arnold and Virginia Ozier, and his sister Jo. He was a retired accountant, and graduated from the University of Kentucky where he was a member of Phi Delta Theta. He was also a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Jerry was an avid fisherman, a die-hard Kentucky fan, lover of horse racing, and an accomplished Bridge player.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Ozier; son, Brian Ozier; grandchildren, Lauren, Austin, and Alex Ozier; foster child Doug Cahill; and a host of family and friends.

A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00am on Friday, January 25, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 501 Cherrywood Rd, with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00pm on Thursday, January 24, at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd.
