Obituary for Josephine Harwood
Josephine “Jo” (Hagan) Harwood, 100, died on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at Baptist Health.
Born in Louisville, Jo was a homemaker, a member of both St. Raphael the Archangel and Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Churches, and an avid bridge player.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred “Bud” Harwood; her son, Fred Harwood, Jr.; and her siblings, Frances, Louise, Clara, and Joe.
She is survived by her daughter, Geri Hale-Cooper (Robert); sisters, Edith Sinkhorn and Geraldine Manning; grandchildren, Charles, Sophia, and Patrick; and 4 great-grandchildren.
Private burial with her husband at KY Veterans Cemetery Central will be at a later date
