Obituary for Sharon M. Epperson (Woprice)
Sharon M. Epperson, 81 of Louisville, passed away on Wednesday, September 21st, 2022.
Sharon was a graduate of Mercy High School, class of 1959. She retired from Cherry Burrell as manager of Human Resources. She was an avid golfer and football fan. Most of all she was a devoted wife, mother and GiGi. Sharon was always there to support her family at any sporting event or activity.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, George Epperson, and her parents, Joe and Georgetta Woprice.
She is survived by her loving children, Shelley Tiebens, Mike Epperson (LuAnn) and Rick Epperson, (Amy); her grandchildren, Samantha (Skylar), Evan, Ethan, Emma, Taylor and Riley; three great-grandchildren, Eva, Ella and Ruby; and her brother, Ron Woprice (Barbara).
Visitation will be Saturday, October 1, 2022, 10:00 am - 2:00 pm, at Highlands Family-Owned Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road, Louisville, Kentucky, 40205, with a 2:00 pm memorial service at the funeral home.
Expressions of sympathy may be made in her name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
