Sharon T Maier, 60, passed away quickly and peacefully on Thursday, November 1, 2018. Born in Valdosta, GA and raised in Louisville, KY. She was an amazing and compassionate person who loved her family and friends fiercely. She was preceded in death by her father, Albert McLaughlin; and sister, Linda Mclaughlin. She is survived by her daughter Ashley Maier Zabenco (Cory); son, Alex Maier; mother, Marilyn McLaughlin; 3 siblings, Denise Saxton (Mike), Rodger McLaughlin (Liza), Jennifer McLaughlin and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Highland funeral home Tuesday November 6th from 2 to 8 pm. A service will be held Wednesday November 7th, 10 am at the Highland Funeral Home (3331 Taylorsville Rd, Louisville,KY.)
