She was room mother for several years for both of her children. She and her husband started HYR,a children’s recreational sports program. She coached and administered the program for eight years. She was a Brownie, Girl Scout and Cub Scout leader for several years and received the Leader’s Knot Award. She gave her girl scouts lasting memories by overnight camping to include spending the night in a cave. She was very proud of being an American and never missed voting. Friends and family will always remember her for her kind words, her loving heart and her classy clothes. She was a devout Christian. She will be missed and remembered by all whose lives she touched.
