Obituary for Shirley Singer
Shirley A. Singer, 79 of Louisville, passed away on Sunday, August 14th, 2022.
She was retired after a long career with Republic Bank and Galen College of Nursing. She was a loving sister and aunt. Shirley never met a stranger and loved to take care of others. She lived a life filled with love, sharing laughter with family and friends, traveling, and enjoying good food. She was a bright light in the lives of everyone she met.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Helen and Birge E. Singer; and sisters, Wanda Woodcox and Loretta Pepper.
She is survived by her loving sister, Gloria Vogt; loving brother, Paul Singer Sr.; and loving nieces and nephews, Mark Vogt (Kathy), Michelle Smith (Neal), Tina Young (Chip), Paul Singer Jr., Matthew Vogt, Mark Vogt, Trey Singer and Kaden Smith.
Her funeral service will be at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 18, 2022 at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd., with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service Thursday at Highlands Funeral Home.
