Stephen W. Lux, 67, of Louisville, passed away, Saturday, July 21, 2018 at his residence. He was born November 20, 1950 in Covington, Kentuky to the late Maurice and Thelma Mistler Lux. Stephen was a member of St. Edward Catholic Church, where he was an active member of the church choir. He enjoyed playing the piano and guitar, loved his boating vacations, and was an avid Cincinnati Reds and Bengals fan. He also just returned from a mission trip in Appalachia with Hands in Hands Ministries and was employed by the University of Louisville.
Survivors include his wife Kathy Link Lux, daughter, Katelyn (Josh) Lux, brothers, Rick (Rose) Lux and Tom (Pam) Lux, mother –in- law, June Bryant, sisters –in- law, Cindy (Coleman) Brown and Laura (Kathleen) Link. Stephen was blessed with two grandchildren, Grayson and Jackson Lux. Several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.
Funeral mass will be conducted at 7:00PM, Sunday, July 29, 2018 at St. Edward Catholic Church, 9608 Sue Helen Drive, Jeffersontown. Visitation will be from 4-7PM, Sunday at the Church.
