In Memory of Thomas G. Woods
Thomas G. Woods, 81 passed away on January 6th, 2024. He was born on August 21st, 1942. He was the son of Jesse and Mayzle Woods.
After graduating Male High School, Tom served his country in the US Army. He retired from G.E. Appliance Park at the age of 55 he then went on to enjoy his family and became a proud member of AA of Louisville. He loved to play pinochle with his friends and was a supporter and fan of U of L athletics.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Mayzle Woods, brothers, Art (Tiny), Joe (Kathleen), Norman (Mickie), Charles (Judy) and Bobby (Jennette) and two sisters, Jeanette (Johnny) and Mary Rose (Lamar).
Left to cherish his memory is his son, Jeffrey (Jo); his granddog, Tonka; his loving family, his dear friends, Joe, Gino and the entire AA family.
Visitation will be Wednesday, January 10, 2024 from 3-8pm at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd. His funeral service will be Thursday at 11am with burial to follow at St. Michael Cemetery.
