Obituary for Todd Steven Epley
Todd Steven Epley, 36, passed away on December 18, 2023, in Louisville, Kentucky, after a long battle with addiction. He was born in Phoenix, Arizona on January 20,1987, and graduated at the top of his class at Arizona State University.
He met his wife, Jennifer, in 2015 while she was living in Phoenix. They quickly fell in love and got married. In 2019, he lived out his dream of moving to the Midwest when he and his wife relocated to Louisville prior to the birth of their first child, Lincoln.
Todd was a loving husband to Jennifer for 6 years, and a devoted father to his two children, Lincoln, 4 and Charlie, 2. He was very intelligent and was a successful businessman. Todd was also a music lover who enjoyed working on projects around the house.
He was a passionate golfer, as well as an avid fan of the Arizona Cardinals, the Diamondbacks and the Phoenix Suns. Todd will be remembered for his odd sense of humor, his friendship to others, and his love for his family.
Todd was preceded in his death by his mother, Janet Epley; sister, Tracy Epley; uncle, DeWayne Epley; and grandmother, Joan Andrews.
He is survived by his wife, Jennifer; son, Lincoln; daughter, Charlie; his father, Douglas Epley; brother, Justin Epley (Jessica); sister, Kelly Collier; aunts, Nancy Andrews and Dawn Hopkins (Steve); an uncle, Dennis Epley (Sandy); niece, Amara Collier; and nephew, Jordan Collier.
The family has chosen cremation. Todd's memorial visitation will be Wednesday, December 27th, 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm, at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road. A memorial service to celebrate Todd’s life that evening will be held at 7:00 pm, at Highlands.
Todd was a man who loved to help others with their struggles and was a real leader in recovery. It is our hope to help those who are struggling with this disease in his memory.
