Obituary for Velma S. Dust (Seibert)
Velma Dust, 95 of Louisville, passed away peacefully on March 17, 2022. She was a member of Bethany and Christ Lutheran Churches. Before retirement , she was a secretary at Coca Cola and Selig Chemical Company.
She was born in New Orleans on August 9, 1926 to the late Rita and Stephen Siebert. She was preceded in death by her siblings and beloved husband, Marquette Dust.
Velma is survived by her children, Lauralee Swartzwelder and Mark Dust (Deborah); grandchildren, Aleta and Katrina Dust and Scott Swartzwelder, numerous nieces and nephews and her dear friends, Ruth French, Wanda Mitchell, Robin and Alan Swartzwelder.
The family wishes to thank the Forest Hills staff for their loving care during her last years.
A celebration of life service will be held Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at 2pm at Forest Hills Commons, 9107 Taylorsville Rd.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Foundation of Ectodermal Dysplasias at www.nfed.org, Hosparus or Christ Lutheran Church.
