Vincent Alexander, 15, a loving and kind soul, died Sunday January 24, 2010. Born in Louisville, Vincent was an AP Honor student at Trinity High School. He graduated from St Agnes Catholic School, and was an active volunteer for Blanket Louisville, an organization which provided blankets to the homeless. He was a cyclist who rode for the Red Zone Jr. Cycling Team. A gifted musician, he played guitar for his band. He was a member of St Agnes Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Edward G. Nold; and joined shortly thereafter on Monday by his aunt, Cheryl Glassner. He is survived by his parents, Tony and Shelly Nold; his sister, Sarah Nold; his grandparents Marcia and Gordon Hinton; his grandmother, Joan Nold and his great grandmother, Mary Mueller. He will also be greatly missed by his many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends, as his love was felt by all.
His funeral Mass will be held at 12 noon Thursday at St Agnes, 1920 Newburg Rd, with private burial later. Visitation will be from 2-8 pm Wednesday at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd.
