Virgil E. Schweickhardt, 89, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 14, 2018.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Eleanor (Hamilton).

He was a native of Louisville, a former computer programmer analyst for Baptist Healthcare, and an active member of St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church.

He is survived by his son, Joseph E Schweickhardt; daughters Colleen F. Schweickhardt and Eleanor C. Schweickhardt; and grandson Alex Schweickhardt.

His funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Martin Catholic Church, 639 S. Shelby St, with burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 2-8 p.m. at Highlands Funeral Home.
