Obituary for Virginia Anne Bischoff (Birdsell)

Virginia Bischoff (Birdsell), age 37, tragically left this world for her eternal resting place on December 6, 2020.

Virginia was born August 3, 1983 to Larry and Charlotte Birdsell in Houston, Texas. She was a wife, mother, step-mother, daughter, sister, businesswoman, friend and so much more who was dearly loved and will never be forgotten.

To know Virginia was to love her. Her creative energy, her robust laugh, her beautiful smile, her huge heart, and her genuine and wise advice touched countless lives during her short time here on earth. Many of her passions included art, cooking, entertaining, music, reading and caring for her Charlie boy. She truly left the world a better place than she found it.

She is a 2001 graduate of Ballard High School in Louisville, KY and went on to earn a Marketing degree from the University of Kentucky in Lexington in 2005. She was married to Aaron Bischoff on May 18, 2013. She was the co-founder of Clean Slate Junk Removal & Moving along with her husband, Aaron.

Virginia had a charitable heart and was active in the community participating in many organizations including Backpacks from Beth, Inc., The Healing Place, SPARC Hope, Sitio Clothing Ministry, and Habitat Restore. She had a passion to make good use of “clutter” and founded “Declutter for a Cause” which repurposed and collected goods through Clean Slate Junk Removal to benefit others in need. Her last day in this world was spent collecting winter wear during a coat drive event she had worked so hard to plan, benefitting The Healing Place.

She is survived by her husband Aaron, son Charlie, step-son Bryce, step-daughter Noraa, her parents Larry and Charlotte Birdsell, her brother Craig Birdsell, and countless other family and friends who loved her dearly.

A celebration of Virginia’s life will be held at Northeast Christian Church, 9900 Brownsboro Rd., Louisville, KY, on Friday, December 11th. Due to the Kentucky Covid-19 regulations, the visitation and service are limited to a small number of family members and dear friends. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in her memory to any of the Louisville-based non-profits listed above.

Join us on Zoom, Friday at 12:00pm for a live-stream of the service.
