Obituary for Virginia L. "Ginnie" Krebs
Virginia L. “Ginnie” Krebs, 93, of Louisville, died Friday August 31, 2018 at Nazareth Home.
Born in Louisville to the late Charles and Adelaide Krebs, she was a graduate of Sacred Heart Academy, a former member of Queen’s Daughters, and a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church. Ginnie will be remembered as a sweet and gentle lady.
She was also preceded in death by eight siblings, Mariam Lancaster, Helen Krebs, Marge Goebel, Charles Krebs, Dorothy Sweeney, Robert Krebs, Betty McCormick, and Jean Evanko.
Ginnie is survived by her brother, James Krebs (Mary V); sister-in-law, Mary Rose Krebs; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Her funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 am on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at St. Agnes, 1920 Newburg Rd., with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9-10 am Saturday at St. Agnes.
