Obituary for Weber "Cy" Vasconcelos

VASCONCELOS, WEBER D. (CY WEBBER), 77, formerly of Providence, RI, and Louisville resident since 1957, passed away.
He was a professional actor, a member of Actor's Equity Association, and retired Artist in Resident for the Jefferson Public School System. He was also a member of the Kentucky Humanities Council's Chautauqua Actors, Resident Artistic director for Clarksville Little Theater for 14 years and had served on the board locally for the Broadway Series, the Beaux Art's Magazine and Make Today Count. He was cofounder of SOS Theater, member of the Catholic Theater Guild, The Carriage House Players and had toured in one-man shows across the country.
He is survived by daughter, Lauren (Mrs. Jerome Schrodt); son, Travis Vasconcelos; four grandchildren; and soulmate for the past three years, Dr. Dennis E. Wagner.
Cremation was chosen. A memorial service will be held 1-4 p.m. Saturday at Clarksville Little Theater, 301 E. Montgomery Ave, Clarksville, IN. Highlands Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
