BRADY, WILLIAM "BILL" ANTHONY JR., 85, passed away on Tuesday, January 14, 2014. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Dorothy Leewe Brady; his mother, Martha Boone Brady and his father, William A. Brady Sr. He is survived by his daughter, Lee Ann Lehman (Ken Sauer); a grandson, Nicholas Brady Lehman; a granddaughter, Michaela Ann Ball; two sisters, Martha Knight (Donald) and Barbara Sprenger (Ranny); a brother, James Brady (Edith); and numerous nephews, nieces and godchildren, who loved him dearly. Bill attended St. Xavier High School and was a U.S. Navy veteran. He then went to work for General Electric Credit Corporation in Louisville. He lived and worked in many locations for GECC, including Connecticut, Pittsburgh, PA, Dayton, OH, Cincinnati, OH, Paducah, KY and Rosewell, GA. He retired after 44 years from GECC in Charlotte, NC, where he and his wife resided at 5559 Lansing Dr. and attended St. Ann's Church. He then volunteered as the secretary/treasurer at Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte. He returned to Louisville to stay about two years ago. He was loved, respected and will be missed. Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Friday at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road. Funeral Mass is at St. Agnes Church, 1920 Newburg Road, at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 18, 2014, with private burial following at Calvary Cemetery.
