Obituary for William O' "Bill" Bryan

O'BRYAN, WILLIAM "BILL," 82, loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, died December 19, 2010 at his home.
Born in Louisville, Bill was a graduate of Flaget High School and attended the University of Louisville. He was a true entrepreneur and started and sold several businesses including Citation Equipment and Supply, Bobco Pools, and Fox Pools by Bill O'Bryan, from which he retired. He loved to play golf and racquetball and spend time with his wife and friends at their home in Dunedin, FL. His favorite was time spent at family gatherings.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 61 years, Barbara Hayden O'Bryan; his daughters, Stephanie Miller (Bob), Diane Kissel (David) and Lauren Eckel (Erik); grandchildren, Eric Kissel (Chanda), Laura Hawley (Bob), Emily Kissel, Rachel (Amy), Bryn and Madeline Cowgill, Hannah and Andrew Eckel; great-granddaughter, Johanna Hawley; and his brother, Joseph C. O'Bryan.
A memorial Mass will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 3345 Lexington Road, with private burial of ashes at a later date. Memorial visitation is from 10 -11 a.m. on Tuesday before Mass at Holy Spirit.
Contributions may be made to Mass of the Air or Right to Life. Highlands Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
