MARKWELL, WILLIAM ROBERT, 79, of Louisville, passed away on Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at Westminster Terrace.
He was a retired chemical operator for Rohm & Haas Chemical Company and an Army Veteran of the Korean War.
He was a member of , St. Luke United Methodist Church, Buechel Park Baptist Church and Parkland Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ellen Horn.
Surviving is his daughter, Tamara Markwell; son, Paul O. Markwell (Karen), and grandchildren, Sean, Matthew, and Sara Markwell.
His funeral service will be 10 a.m. on Thursday, September 13, 2012 at Highlands Family-Owned Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd. with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be 2 - 8 p.m. on Wednesday at Highlands.
