Obituary for William Ira WEBB

WEBB, WILLIAM IRA, 82, of Louisville, passed away Saturday January 23, 2010 at Christopher East.
Born in Louisville, he was a World War II Navy veteran and retired from Ford Motors after 35 years of service. He was also a member of Farmdale Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, the former Norma Tabor; daughter, Sandra Mayer Herald (Douglas); son, William Webb Jr. (Doris); brothers, Samuel C., Robert, Jerry and Richard Webb; sisters, the former Doris and Carol Webb, Francis Troutman, Betty Pulliam; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
His service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at Highlands Family-Owned Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
