Burial Vaults

Although they are not required by law, many cemeteries mandate that families purchase concrete burial vaults in order to bury remains in the cemetery. Burial vaults are a necessary piece of equipment to not only help protect the casket or urn but also ensure the safety of those at the cemetery.

Over time, a casket can begin to decompose and eventually collapse due to the weight of soil piled on top of it. If there is a lot of foot traffic or maintenance equipment constantly passing over the grave, this can increase the likelihood of a collapse. The burial vault is constructed of durable material that will not decompose or succumb to this weight thereby preventing any sort of potential collapse or injury.
