CODEY, William F., 79, of Louisville, passed away Tuesday, February 17, 2015.

He served in the Navy from 1955-1959 and retired from Ford Motor Company after 33 years of service. He was a member of Local #369 and the UAW. He was a Mason, a member of the Scottish Rite and a Shriner.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frederick and Geneal Codey; and his brother, Charles E. Codey.

Mr. Codey is survived by his wife of 57 years, Margaret P. (Johnston) Codey; sons, William Codey, Jr. (Lori) and Steve Codey (Charity); grandchildren, Elizabeth Codey, Brandon Codey, Kathleen Codey, Brent Brown, Briley Codey, and Brooke Codey; brother, John Codey (Anne); and sister, Cynthia Royster (Samuel).

His service will be 1pm Friday at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road, with burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-8pm Thursday at the funeral home.
