SEMONES, Cecil C., 96 passed away Feb. 28 at the Nazareth Home surrounded by family. Cecil was a WWII veteran, a retired sales representative for Stratton & Terstegge Co., a Mason and member of Westport Road Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by a beloved son, Donald.

Cecil is survived by his loving wife, Irene of 76 years; son, Jerry (Marita); daughter, Donna Weber (Steve); 6 grandchildren, Karen, Kim, Kristie, Stephanie, Todd and Nick; 14 great grandchildren; and a brother, Claude Semones.

The family would like to express their appreciation to the Nazareth Home for the compassion shown to Cecil while he was in their care.

Cecil’s funeral service will be at 11:00 am on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road, with burial to follow in Resthaven. Visitation will be from 2-8 pm on Monday at Highlands.
