PAYNE, Delores Jean (Dekemper), 80, of Louisville, passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at the Episcopal Church Home.

She had worked as a switch board operator and office supply manager for Mercer and was an active member of St. Michael Catholic Church.

Mrs. Payne was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Payne; parents, John A. and Virginia B. Dekemper; and sisters, Jacqueline Van Zandt and Arlena Clements.

She is survived by her children Connie Riggs (Allan); Keith (Tammy), Mike, and Rob Payne; grandchildren, Daniel (Corrie) and Wade Riggs, and Katie Payne; sister, Virginia Clements; loving nieces and nephews; and many caring friends, including Donna Earnest and Linda Schmitt.

Her Funeral Mass will be 9am Saturday at St. Michael Catholic Church, 3705 Stone Lakes Drive, with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-8pm Friday at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road.
