SMITH, Shirley Ann (Florence), 74, of Louisville, passed away peacefully, Saturday, July 18, 2015.

She was a member of Eastside Christian Church in Jeffersonville, IN.

Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Robert J. Smith; and her parents, James and Mary Florence.

She is survived by her children, Duane Smith (Susan) and Jan Cosgrove (Bill); grandchildren, Ryan Smith (Olivia), Lauren Grodrian (Tyler), Brandon Smith, Taylor Whobrey, Evan Smith, Matthew Cosgrove, Zachary Lowman, Christopher Cosgrove; great-grandchildren, Annelise Grodrian, Carrigan Grodrian, Jacob Zee II, and Baby Boy Grodrian; brothers, George Florence (Lucille) and Kenneth Florence; sisters, Wilma Priddy (Merle) and Sharon Florence; sister-in-law, Judy Florence; and close family, Ron Smith (Marian) and Sharon Henderson (Jimmy).

The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to Magnolia Springs for their excellent care and support. They are grateful for the good life Shirley had while living there and the many good friends she made.

Visitation will be 2-8pm Tuesday and after 10am Wednesday at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road. Funeral service will be 11am Wednesday at the funeral home, with entombment to follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
