REINSTEDLER, Ruth J Densford., 86, of Louisville, passed away July 29, 2015.
She was born July 19, 1929 in Jeffersonville, IN, and worked as a long distance operator. She worked for AT&T where she met her husband. Ruth was involved in Girl Scouts as well as Altar Society at St. Raphael Church. Her greatest passion in life was her children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her daughters, Ruth Ann Bryant and Katherine Wolff; 5 brothers; and 3 sisters.
Ruth is survived by her loving husband Leroy, who cared for the love of his life as she battled Alzheimer’s for 15 years; her son Mark Reinstedler (Kathleen); grandchildren, Carrie Early (Patrick), John Wolff, Sarah Bryant, and Adam and Christopher Reinstedler; great-grandchildren, Eleanor, Jacob and Anna Early; sister Dorothy Haire; and countless nieces and nephews.
Her funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Saturday, August 1, 2015 at St. Raphael the Archangel Catholic Church, Bardstown Rd. at Lancashire Ave., with burial to follow in Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 pm Friday at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road.
