SCHMETZER, Mary Agnes Ellert, 84, passed away Wednesday, August 26, 2015.
She was a member of Southeast Christian Church and was retired from Liberty National Bank.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Norman; parents, Henry and Agnes (Diebold) Ellert; and brother, Henry “Hank” Ellert.
She is survived by her son, Paul Schmetzer (Kim); daughters, Jean Hornback (Dennis) and Barbara Smith (Brent); grandchildren, Laura Jolly (Keith), Nicholas and Rachael Schmetzer, Maggie and Daniel Smith; brother, Bernard Ellert (Mary Sue); and sisters-in-law, Marian Ellert, Rose Marie Filburn, JoAnne Crawford and Doris Mooney.
Visitation will be from 2-7pm Sunday, August 30, 2015 at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road. Funeral service will be at 12 noon on Monday, August 31, 2015 at the funeral home, with burial to follow in St. Michael Cemetery
