FINN, Mary Graft, 86, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 30, 2015 at Nazareth Home.
She was the daughter of the late Harold J. and Ottilia (Schwartz) Graft. Mary graduated from Nazareth College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology. On April 30, 1955 she married John R. “J.R.” Finn, owner of the Polar Gulf Service Station.
She was preceded in death by her husband; granddaughter, Erin Nicole Finn; brother, Harold J. Graft, Jr.; sister, Martha G. Coke; aunts, Helen R. Graft, Virginia M. Graft, Clara G. McCracken; and uncle, Raymond B. Graft.
Mary is survived by her 7 children, Richard J. Finn (Melody), Martha F. Connors (David), William G. Finn (Kris), Mary Anne F. Steinmetz (David), Kathleen F. Towles (Jimmy), Julie F. Mrozinski (Tim), and John R. “Jack” Finn, Jr. (Amy); 17 grandchildren, Sean Connors (Rachel), Michael Connors, Megan Finn, Katie Finn, Beau Fitzner, Bryan Steinmetz, Leslie Setters (Bryan), Alexander Finn, Molly Steinmetz, Matthew Towles, John “Jack” Finn, Scott Mrozinski, Kaitlin Towles, Sarah Mrozinski, Rachel Finn, Michael Towles, and Leah Finn; 7 great-grandchildren, Kayla, Riley, Gavin, Kassidy, Chace, Evan and Willow; and her sister, Joan G. Wittig of Cape Coral, FL.
Her funeral service will be held at 10:00 am Thursday, September 3, 2015 at St. Raphael the Archangel Catholic Church, 2141 Lancashire Avenue, with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 pm on Wednesday at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road.
