ALLEN, Mary Bell, 75, went to be with Christ Monday, May 23, 2016.
She was born on November 2, 1940 in Grayson County. Mary loved her Lord, her family, southern gospel music, and flowers.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Doug Allen; daughter, Kim Allen; son, Greg Allen (Laurie); granddaughters, Chelsea Allen, Macie Davis (Drew) and Chloe Allen; and sisters, Ivene Hornback, Doris Abbott, and Kaye Stewart.
Mary’s funeral service will be at Southeast Christian Church, 920 Blankenbaker Pkwy, at 1:00 pm, Thursday, May 26, 2016. Visitation will be Wednesday from 1-7 pm at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road, and on Thursday at Southeast from 11am until time of service. There will be a private burial the following week.
