Doug, Greg, Kim and family. I know your hearts are heavy. It's always too soon to say goodbye, but I know you are thrilled to think of Mary in her Savior's arms. What a moment it must have been, when He said to her, "Well done, my good and faithful servant!" Well done, indeed! Such a servant's heart all these years. I will cherish the memories we had when we were teens, and our parents playing Rook, and enjoying those evenings together! One of the things we've always encouraged in our ministry is to be MORE concerned about the friends we have as parents, than the friends our kids actually have. Our parents did that well! Doug and Mary were such a Christian example for us to follow, never tiring of serving. Always there with a joyful heart. I'll miss "Little Mary". Maybe she and "Vendell Wick" are having a grand old time, as they wait for us to join them in our eternal home. Love you guys so much, and will continue to pray for peace and comfort throughout these days.
