At the beginning of my leadership career, I was fortunate to be hired by Margo at Baptist Hospital Highlands. I had the honor of continuing to work with her when Highlands was closed and the Acute Rehab and Behavioral Health services were moved to the Baptist East campus. Margo was a fabulous mentor and friend. She was a true servant leader and had a genuine respect for everyone. We had many good times and laughs along with many challenges. I will always cherish the guidance she provided in her humble and unassuming manner. She helped shape the foundation of my leadership style. She mentored the value of building relationships. Early in my administrative career, when faced with a challenge, I remember thinking, "How would Margo handle this?" I am forever grateful that our paths crossed and she convinced me that coming to work at Baptist was the right decision. Thanks for sharing your gifts and talents. While you are missed, so glad you are now resting peacefully.
