Charles L. Schott, Sr., of Louisville, passed away Saturday, August 20, 2016.
He was a retired insurance agent, Navy WWII Veteran, 32nd Degree Mason of the Preston Masonic Lodge #281, a Kosair Shriner, and a member of Bethel-St. Paul Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and sons, David and Bruce Schott.
He is survived by his loving wife of 73 years, the former Anita Boeschel; sons, Charles L. Schott, Jr. (Patti), Leslie Schott (Barbara), and Garnett Schott (Marsha); daughters, Anita Selch (Mike) and Barbara Shehan (Dan); daughter-in-law, Linda Schott; sister-in-Christ, Mary Ellen Lewis; fourteen grandchildren; twenty seven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
His funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, August 26 at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd. with a private entombment to follow. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at Highlands.
