Carlie, because we were born so many years apart (you in 1934 and I in 1955), I never got to grow up in the same house with you. You were off having a family before I was even born. I guess where I got to know you the best, was while working with you every morning  at 4 a.m. in the bakery, while I was going to high school and part of my college years. Man the fun and the conversations we had while making all those delicious bakery goods. Those are times I had with you that I would NEVER trade for the world. I always loved the way you analyzed what I had said and made me think of things I had not thought of. Although you may not know it, you taught me a lot, and I want to say thank you! You were a very smart man. I love you so. And you will be sorely missed! Say hi to Mom, Dad, Jean and Don for me.
