GRAF, Mae Elizabeth, 93, of Louisville, passed away on Thursday, August 20, 2015.
Born in Memphis, the former Mae Shreve was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church, and a master card player.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, WWII hero Hugh Merritt and their daughter, Nancy Merritt Bornhauser.
Mae is survived by her daughters, Sandy Stigger (Garry) and Candy Wheat (Jack); son-in-law, Tom Bornhauser; 3 sisters; 1 brother; grandchildren, Mac Bornhauser, Scott Stigger, Evan Stigger, Nicki Wheat, Aston Wheat and Schuyler McCaig; and 4 great-grandchildren.
Following a private committal service at Cave Hill Cemetery, the family will have a memorial visitation for Mae from 3-4 pm, with a service immediately following at 4 pm on Saturday, August 22, 2015 at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 10200 Shelbyville Road.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to American Cancer Society, Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, or the Center for Faith and Art at Trinity Presbyterian.
