KEATTING,
Richard Charles, 90, was born in Louisville, Kentucky to William and Lydia Keatting on January 5, 1926. He passed from this earth on November 24, 2016 at the age of 90 years.
He proudly served in the Navy during both World War II (USS Bolivar) and the Korean War (USS Haven)
He worked as a union pipefitter/plumber and was a member of Pipefitters Local 107/502 until his retirement in 1985.
Richard is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Verna Lyons; and brother, Bud Keatting.
Richard is survived by his sons, David Keatting (Vicki) and Ted Keatting; daughter, Angela Csizmadia (Dan); grandsons, Josh Keatting and Nicholas Csizmadia; and granddaughters, Tia Keatting and Shannon Csizmadia.
His loss is also mourned by his surviving sisters, Adelaide Long (Bob) and Elva Stockdale.
His visitation will be from 3-7 p.m. Monday, November 28, 2016 at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd.
