Hayes, Emily Matilda (Kressin), 77, of Louisville, passed away, Saturday, December 18, 2010.
She was a native of Barney,ND., a homemaker, a former member of Pilgrim Lutheran Church, a current member of Our Savior Lutheran Church, many bridge clubs, Middletown Seniors, Meadow Heights Women’s Club. Emily was involved in many groups at Our Savior Lutheran, including, Widows Group, group leader of Christ Care and the Braille Ministries.
Emily was preceded in death by her husband, Judge John P. Hayes.
She is survived by her daughter, Amy R. Masterson (Richard); sons, Michael B. Hayes (Julie) and Kevin J. Hayes (Linda); sisters, Sylvia Kelley, Alberta Tollefson, Gertrude Nelson, Charlotte James and Doris Olson; grandchildren, Nathaniel, Jaclyn (Brian Elliott), Meredith, John Paul II, Taylor Ann, Benjamin Kevin and Nicholas, Rachel and Jessica.
Her funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 8305 Nottingham Parkway, with burial in Cave Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2:00-5:00 and 6:00 –9:00 Monday at Highlands Family-Owned Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd.
