Obituary for Albert "Bud" Clark

CLARK, ALBERT A. "BUD," 93, died Wednesday, May 30, 2012.
He was born in Weyerhaeuser, WI. and graduated from Weyerhaeuser High School.
Mr. Clark served overseas as a Master Sergeant in the 1055th Signal Corp of the Army Air Corp during World War II.
He was a graduate of the University of Louisville, where he became active in Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity. He was an active member of Bardstown Road Presbyterian Church, where he bowled on the church team for 50 years, and a member of VFW Post 5780 of Weyerhaeuser.
Mr. Clark owned the Clark Plating Company and The Bright Side, specializing in silver and brass work.
He was preceded in death by his wife of almost 60 years, the former Martha Ann Seng; and his son-in-law, Steven V. Bilyeu.
He is survived by three daughters, Alicia Bloos (Kris), Lauren Alwes (Mark) and Lindsay Bilyeu; nine grandchildren, Matthew, Paul and Rob Miller; Casey Bloos, Allison and Jason Alwes, and Steven, Cullen and Spencer Bilyeu; and four nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd. with burial in Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at Highlands.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to his church, Bardstown Road, Presbyterian Church or to the Steven V. Bilyeu Scholarship at the University of Louisville J.B. Speed School
