Alice Joyce Neurath Maher, 83, of Louisville, passed away Saturday, January 14, 2012.
She was a graduate of the University of Louisville and a special-education teacher. She taught at Wilder and Goldsmith Elementary Schools.
Alice was preceded in death by her parents, Alton E. and Anna K. Neurath and her sister, Ann Mowen.
She is survived by her sons, T. David Maher (Kristi), J. Dennis Maher and M. Kevin Maher; daughter, Martha Anne Davies (Bob); brothers, Dr. Alton E. Neurath, Jr. (Betty) and Ronald Neurath (Stephany); sister, Joan Hamrick; grandchildren, Matthew (Erin), Nathan and Jeremy Maher and Sinclair and Spencer Davies.
Her graveside service will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at Cave Hill Cemetery.
