Betty Lois Isaac, 86, of Louisville, passed away Wednesday, January 4, 2012.
She was a homemaker, a full time caregiver of her cherished daughter, Valarie, a member of American Legion Auxiliary Post 201 and Buechel United Methodist Church.
Betty was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 60 years, Valentine Reiter, III and her parents, John and Lillian Isaac.
She is survived by her son, Valentine Reiter, IV; daughter, Valarie J. Reiter; sisters, Lillian “Sissy” Jackson (Roy) and Bessie “Doll” Kilman; nephews, Keith V. Isaac and Robert Sensbach and many other loving nieces and nephews and best friend, Sue Fowler.
Her funeral service will be at Noon, Monday, January 9, 2012, on what would have been Betty and Valentine’s 66th wedding anniversary at Highlands Family-Owned Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd. with entombment in Resthaven Memorial Park where Betty will be reunited with her beloved Valentine.
Visitation will be from 2:00 – 7:00 p.m. Sunday at Highlands.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to American Red Cross or charity of donor’s choice.
