Obituary for Bob Pendleton

PENDLETON, Warren H. “Bob”, 93, of Louisville, passed away on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at Norton Suburban Hospital.
Born in Acton, KY, he was a WWII combat wounded U.S. Army veteran, DAV Chapter 6 member, and an avid gardener and UofL Cardinals fan.
Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Norine Pendleton; 4 sisters; and 4 brothers.
He is survived by his children, Linda Bowling (Jerry), Brenda Cory (Skip), Carolyn Sachse (John) and Rick Pendleton (Cathy); brothers, Jack, Kenneth and Boyd; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; special friends and neighbors, Jerry and Judy Montardier; and very best friend, Tomcat.
Bob’s funeral service will be at 10:00 am on Saturday, June 7th at Highlands Family-Owned Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road, with burial to follow in Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 pm on Friday at Highlands.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in his honor to the Wounded Warrior Project.
