Bosse, Bobbie Ann Allen, 77, passed away Wednesday, June 2, 2010 at Norton Suburban Hospital.
She was born in Elkhorn, Kentucky, near Campbellsville, KY. She graduated from Taylor County High School. She soon moved to Louisville and was employed in the office of Bradas & Gheens Candies where she worked until her son Michael Timothy was born, then choosing to be a “stay-at-home mom”. She was a member Farmdale Baptist Church.
Bobbie was preceded in death by her husband, William B. Bosse, her parents, Robert Brookshire Allen and Annie Russell Allen; her brother, John Russell Allen and eight half-brothers and sisters, Thelma Benningfield, Paul Allen, Mildred Benningfield, Talbott R. Allen, Louisa Dudgeon, Morna Richerson, Joe Allen and Marjorie Maupin.
She is survived by her son, Michael Timothy Bosse; sister, Betty Allen Bowles (Dr. Louis Bowles); half sister, Marion Moretz who has resided in Pennsylvania for many years and sister-in-law, Juanita Crawford (Pat). Also to carry her wonderful memory are many nieces and nephews and wonderful friends.
Her funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 07, 2010 at Highlands Family-Owned Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd. with burial in Calvary Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2:00 -8:00 p.m. Sunday at Highlands.
